Dr Gabriela Petrof

Dr Gabriela Petrof, MBBS, PhD holds a substantive Consultant post at Great Ormond street hospital (London, UK) where she is part of the Nationally Commissioned Highly Specialised Service for children with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). She completed her Dermatology specialist training in London and the West Midlands and was awarded a PhD in cell therapies for the genetic condition ‘Epidermolysis Bullosa’ as part of the Genetic Skin Disease Group, King’s College London. She looks after children with all types of Ichthyosis and supports the Ichthyosis support group in the UK as member of its medical advisory panel. She is also on the medical advisory panel for CureEB and the UK ectodermal dysplasia society. Dr Petrof’s research led to numerous publications in high impact factor journals and presentations at national and international meetings.
