Professor Matthias Schmuth

Professor Matthias Schmuth MD qualified as a medical doctor from the University of Vienna in Austria. He researched various types of ichthyosis and the skin barrier in San Francisco, USA. He also serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types (FIRST) in the US. He currently works as a physician scientist at the Medical University Innsbruck in Austria at a clinic which is a member of the European Reference Network (ERN)-Skin.
