Michelle Hill

I’m Michelle Hill and I live in Amarillo, Texas, USA. I’m the mom of four children. My youngest child, Zelda, is affected by KRT10 EI with mosaicism. She is the only member in our family who is affected. I have leaned on the ichthyosis and EI communities for help to understand and meet her needs. I am excited to be a part of this team to pay forward the education, care, and concern I’ve received. I am a registered nurse who specialises in Clinical Research Trials in human subjects. 

I have been a board member for charities in the past, so understand the administration involved. I have had various experiences with fundraising in the past and am involved in many different aspects of my community, including the hospital and clinical trials network, my childrens’ school networks, in addition to the motorbike community, and the local dog-training and walking communities. I hope to increase awareness of EI and bring local fundraising support through these many and diverse communities, and to have a lot of fun along the way!

I hope to use my professional experience to further this project along its path. I am also excited to introduce this opportunity to the people who live in my community. I believe that the support we give each other along with financial support of our local communities will grow this project to completion and success.
