My name is Rachel Wagner and my husband and I have a son that has EI with a mutation in the KRT10 gene. We are therefore passionate about finding a cure and raising awareness for EI.
I currently work for my local government and teach accounting and business courses at Wilfrid Laurier University. My work background is a mix of strategy and accounting. I used to work at Deloitte as an auditor and worked on consulting projects for not-for-profit and for-profit businesses, both locally and globally. I have a passion for volunteering and have been on multiple boards throughout my life. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science, MBA, and I am a Chartered Professional Accountant. When not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy travelling, playing a wide variety of sports, and reading. My goal is to go to every country during my lifetime; currently I have travelled, volunteered, or worked in more than 45 countries.
