Doctor Angela Hernández-Martin

Doctor Angela Hernández-Martin completed her medical training in Salamanca, Spain and pursued her specialisation in Dermatology at the University Hospital of Salamanca. Angela has also spent various periods in the United States, specifically dedicated to Paediatric Dermatology.

She currently works as a Paediatric Dermatologist at Hospital Infantil Niño Jesús in Madrid, Spain, serves as the Secretary of the European Society of Paediatric Dermatology and is the President of the Spanish Society of Paediatric Dermatology.

Congenital ichthyosis have been her main area of interest since the beginning of her career. She has deep expertise in the management, diagnosis, and therapy of these conditions. Her commitment to improving the lives of patients with congenital ichthyosis is evident in her active involvement with the Spanish Association of Ichthyosis Patients (ASIC). She has an extensive number of scientific publications on congenital ichthyosis, which have significantly contributed to advancing knowledge in this area.
